Beach and dunes in Ouddorp

Ouddorp is all about space, fresh sea air, and a beach that seems to go on forever. The coastline here stretches for around 25 km, with wide sandy shores, dune paths, and plenty of quiet spots to slow down. Come for an easy beach day, a sunset walk, a refreshing swim, or simply to clear your head with the sound of the waves in the background.

Cycling and walking

Ouddorp is a great base for cycling routes and walking trails across Goeree Overflakkee. You can follow well paved paths through dune landscapes, over dikes, and past small villages, always with the coast close by. The local cycling junction network makes it easy to create your own route and choose the distance that fits your day. If you do not bring a bike, rentals are available locally. Back at the guesthouse, you can store your bike safely after a day outside. 

Food and drinks

After a day outdoors, Ouddorp has plenty of easy, feel good options for eating and drinking. Think cosy cafés, relaxed terraces, and great spots to try local products, beach pavilions, and restaurants for lunch or dinner. Whether you want something quick after the beach or a longer evening out, you will find a place that matches your mood. 

Beach Club Punt West

If you want one place to remember, make it Beach Club Punt West. It is a beautiful waterside spot where you can drop in for coffee, lunch, drinks, or dinner and stay a little longer than planned. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, with a terrace by the water and a menu that works for a casual bite or a proper evening meal. Perfect for golden hour and sunset drinks.

The village of Ouddorp

Ouddorp feels like a real seaside village, friendly and easy to explore. Wander through the centre for shops, terraces, and places to eat, then head back out to the dunes and beach when you feel like more sea air. It is a great mix of calm coastal nature and a village vibe that still feels lively in season.
